Saima moved from Arkansas to Wisconsin with her family in 2015. Saima has 20 years of professional experience in the substance abuse and Mental Health field. She worked at Journey Mental Health Center for 5 years before accepting her new position as the Substance Use Disorder Treatment Services Coordinator. While at Journey she supervised the Clinical Assessment Unit (Intoxicated Driver Program), Alternative Sanctions (Drug Courts), Medication Assisted Therapy, Outpatient Substance Use Disorder program, UJIMA (culturally specific) and Clinica Latina program. Saima has conducted several ASAM Criteria trainings throughout Wisconsin and Arkansas. She has been an active member of the Intervention and Treatment Committee (ITC). Saima is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Substance Abuse Counselor and an Independent Clinical Supervisor. In her spare time Saima is a volunteer firefighter and EMT for the Middleton Fire department.

Simran Arora, MS, LPC-SUD, is the Substance Use Services Section Chief where she is responsible for supervising substance use disorder service programs including opiate treatment programs and addressing the epidemic of Opioid related deaths, Intoxicated Driver Programs, Women’s Treatment Programs, Multi-cultural program grants, Methamphetamine and Opioid related initiatives. In the past she has worked as a Clinical Manager, Clinical Supervisor and also have provided direct services including but not limited to individual and group counseling services for mental health and substance use disorder. She is passionate about helping others and assisting people who are struggling with mental health or substance use disorder.
